This notice explains the data Ariola processes to provide anonymous chat and the privacy controls available to users.

Data we process
Anonymous Firebase user ID, nickname, optional age, gender, country and region details, presence, visibility setting, public and direct messages, historical preset-image whisper records, reports, blocks, appeals, moderation notices, and optional analytics events if accepted.
Images and text extracted from them are processed by Google Cloud Vision and Vertex AI for mandatory safety checks before delivery.
After you send a voice message, Vertex AI processes the recording for safety and automatic speech recognition. Original transcripts are stored with the message, and incoming transcripts may be processed by Google Cloud Translation. Transcriptions can be inaccurate; the recording remains the source of truth. Unsent recordings stay on your device, and translations are not permanently stored.
Location landing pages only reorder country and region choices if you decide to add them; Ariola does not verify or collect a live location for profile entry.
Public replies store message links, not copied quotations. We also store unread markers and private conversation preferences.
When Sparks are enabled, we keep your private balance, earned progress, reward collection, redemption history and preferences. These records are included in account export and deletion.
We count reciprocal replies and conversational turns without AI scoring of private messages. Aggregate conversation counts and voluntary feedback contain no message text or participant identities.

Manage optional analytics from any policy page. Clearing browser data does not delete stored conversations.
Deletion pseudonymizes or removes user-facing profile and message data while preserving restricted safety records where needed for legal and abuse-prevention purposes.
Your language preference is stored separately in browser local storage and a functional language cookie. Ariola uses Google Cloud Translation to detect the language of incoming messages from other participants and translate them into your selected language when needed. Your own messages and nicknames stay unchanged. Changing the language does not change your profile country.
